Shared branching is a cooperative network of credit unions that have joined together and created shared service centers across the country. By sharing facilities, credit unions can offer greater convenience for members to access their account at many locations just as if they were at their home credit union.
Limits for shared branching are set by the institution you are visiting and can vary. Shared branching transactions cannot be done in the drive through. Shared branching can provide services such as: withdrawals, deposits, transfers and cashier checks. They are unable to perform any maintenance on the account such as: wires, account closure, address changes etc.
